The illustrations in this story are so wonderful that Klemke received the Biennale Golden Apple Award for them in Bratislava .
In 2017, the bull Ferdinand was the protagonist of the children’s film based on the book. A story recommended for children from seven or eight years old that will make them reflect on the world of bullfighting.
